/>....大腸癌是發病率和死亡率排第二的惡性腫瘤，其趨勢更直追首位的肺癌。即便如此，外科專科楊國輝醫生指出，只要及早發現大腸中的瘜肉或早期腸癌，並施予治療，都可提高治癒的機會。「大腸癌分為四期。第1期的腸癌細胞仍留在淺層，治癒率可達90%。當癌細胞逐漸擴散至腸肌肉層、附近的淋巴組織時，期數便會增加，相對的痊癒機會也會減少。直至癌細胞擴至肝或肺等器官時，已是第4期。」楊醫生補充，隨著醫學發展，4期腸癌也可透過手術切除及電療、化療來減少復發機會，延長患者的存活時間。<br />原來，大腸瘜肉可在出現後數年，演變為癌細胞。雖然並非所有瘜肉都有癌變可能，但儘早找出並拔除瘜肉，始終能減低患癌機會。「以美國為例，她曾一度是腸癌死亡率最高的地方。自從美國政府提倡為50歲以上人士進行大腸鏡檢查後，就使腸癌的死亡率大大降低。」由此可見，推行腸癌普查的效用很大也十分重要。楊醫生建議，凡50歲以上、曾患腸道炎、及家族中有腸道瘜肉或腸癌病歷的人士，都應進行至少一次大腸鏡檢查。...<br />甚至乎連她們的家庭醫生都這樣想。就是為了這樣，女性的膀胱癌常比男性的診斷延誤得多，而且當發現的時候巳經是晚期了。雖然每四名膀胱癌病患者當中只有一名是女性，但晚期的膀胱癌患者之中，女性卻明顯地多於男性。同時，女性往往可以長時期忍受膀胱的症狀，而不去求醫。<br /><br /></div><br /><div align="left">家庭醫生亦常常較遲才指出女性病患者之泌尿症狀屬於不尋常而轉介她們去看專科醫生。而有些病者和部分醫生都會有錯覺，誤以為只有男性才會患上膀胱癌。</div><br /><div align="left"><strong>以下就是一些較重要的症狀，病者應提高警覺以防患上膀胱癌：</strong> </div><div style="font-size:85%;">乳房造影帶來的痛楚令人卻步，其實以下的<strong><span style="font-size:100%;">秘技6招</span></strong>可以達到乳房造影無痛:</span></p><ol><li><span style="font-size:85%;">在接受乳房ｘ光檢查之前，要確定自己的乳房沒有充血的情況出現 (簡單的說，就是在月經之後的兩星期；確實的時間因人而異，所以有些女生會發現在月經後18至22日才是最適合)。</span></li><li><span style="font-size:85%;">在檢查的前一周，盡量少服用鹽或咸味食物；這不但可減少乳房沒有充血的情況，亦可減輕做壓縮測試時所受到的痛楚。</span></li><li><span style="font-size:85%;">在檢查的前三周開始服用400單位的Vitamin E。 沒有人知為什麼會奏效，但我深信這小方法能帶來預期的效果。</span></li><li><span style="font-size:85%;">在測試進行前的一小時，使用一般的止痛藥，例如：Paracetamol(中譯：撲熱息痛(一種解熱鎮痛藥)；Aspirin (中譯：阿司匹林)； Diclofenac（中譯：雙氯芬酸）；當然如果你對以上的止痛藥有敏感症狀，就不適用這方法。</span></li><li><span style="font-size:85%;">這是一個我的病人跟我分享的小秘密；在測試前一個星期開始隔日飲用一杯“五青汁”。五青即是青蘋果，青椒，青瓜，西芹和苦瓜。這“五青汁”可幫助減輕一般的乳房疼痛。但建議不要胡亂飲用過多，因為這樣會導致低血壓，甚至會出現頭暈之症狀。 </span></li><li><span /><br /><br />絕大部分的腸癌病例，都是由腸瘜肉演變而來。而由瘜肉演化成腸癌，其過程約為五至十年，換言之，只要病人能在這段期間透過檢查發現瘜肉，就可在其惡化前將它們清除。<br /><br /><br />透過檢查及早發現腸癌，亦有助提升治療效果。以腸癌個案作統計，原位癌的治癒率幾乎為百分之百，而第一期癌症的治癒率亦有百分之九十。隨著癌症期數愈高，治癒率亦跟著顯著下降︰雖然現時醫療技術已趨成熟，但第四期癌症的治療率，仍不足百分之五。<br /><br /><br />因此，醫學界建議成年市民(特別是中年或以上人士)應定期接受大腸鏡檢查。檢查過程簡單︰醫護人員以一條裝有微型鏡頭的光纖細管，探入病人肛門，並透過接連顯示屏的鏡頭檢查腸道狀況，如發現瘜肉便可立即切除。<br /><br /><br />隨著大腸鏡檢查在全球漸為普及，近年腸癌整體數字中，早期病例的比率逐漸上升，而這亦代表整體治癒的比率將得到提高。因此，為了自己的健康著想，事不宜遲，快點安排接受第一次腸鏡檢查吧！<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' />一直以來，乳癌也是威脅本港婦女的最常見癌症之一，平均每年有逾二千宗新症，而且患者更有年輕化的趨勢。要預防或及早發現乳房病變，定期的檢查是非常重要的。醫學界建議，四十歲或以上女性宜每年接受一次乳房X光造影檢查。<br /><br /><br />進行測試時，醫護人員會請測試者將乳房放在兩塊X光板上，從不同角度輕擠及固定乳房，以取得影像。有病人曾說，檢查時乳房出現少許疼痛，其實，只要留意下列幾項「小貼士」，接受檢查時的不適感將大大降低。<br /><br /><br />首先，女士應安排在來經約兩星期後、乳房沒有充血腫脹時接受測試，而在測試前一星期起，亦應注意飲食，避免攝取過多鹽份，多飲用綠色果汁如青蘋果、青瓜及苦瓜汁等。測試前三星期起，可選擇一些含豐富維他命E的食物，包括椰子油、甜馬鈴薯、豌豆、青豆及蕃茄等。<br /><br /><br />如擔心接受檢查時感到不適，可以在一小時前服用一些輕微的止痛藥，如阿士匹靈等。當然，假如真的在測試途中感到痛楚難耐(機會非常低)，病人可立即通知醫護人員，讓他們調節X光板擠壓乳房的力度。<br /><br /><br />只要放鬆心情，其實乳房X光造影檢查並非大部份人想像般可怕，而且定期的造影檢查配合女士每月的自我乳房檢查，對減輕乳癌威脅，確有著明顯的功效。<div <br />2007-07-28<br />痔瘡槍切除術或引起併發症<br /><br />【本報訊】廣華醫院分析以痔瘡槍環狀切除手術治療痔瘡的96個病例後，發現其中13個病例出現小便困難和出血等輕微併發症，而這些患者均有特定風險因素。負責該項研究的醫生指出，醫護人員為患者安排手術時，應考慮他們是否有高危因素，如本身是否有前列腺肥大，從而避免併發症。<br /><br />本身有高危因素<br /><br />廣華醫院外科顧問醫生蒙家興表示，該院04年開始引入痔瘡槍，至今累積病例96個，男女各佔一半。院方分析個案後發現，雖然痔瘡槍在止血方面較傳統手術為佳，但有13人分別出現小便困難、出血、肛門收窄和手術後血塊穿破的併發症，其中5人需再度入院跟進。不過，他強調這些併發症輕微，未有對患者構成嚴重影響。他指，出現併發症的個案均有高危因素，例如本身患有前列腺肥大，他們手術後出現小便困難的風險會較高；過往曾接受非手術治療痔瘡、正服用薄血丸等，出血的風險也會增加。蒙家興建議，醫護人員日後為痔瘡患者安排手術時，也應考慮他們是否有這些高危因素。<div
